Maurice:
I am glad that you are answering the questions. Would you mind expanding a little about Interdigital? I am willing to listen.
That is fantastic aboout the Q forseeing the use of IP and disclosing that in their patents. The Internet, and along with it TCP/IP, became commercial around 1994-95.
More examples of my arguments is as follows. Let's assume you are granted a patent on an analog computer and within the disclosure you talk about computers and so forth. Within the claims (that is where you get your protection), an analog computer is never mentioned. In the next few years, digital computers come out. The chances are that you will not be granted protection on a digital computer. At the time the invention was made, digital computers were not known.
As you noted, I joined in Oct 95. I think SI was started in August 1995 and I can remember when Brad and Jeff Dryer announced that SI had 1000 members. Chances are, that I was one of those first 1000, or 2000, members.
With respect to Ericy, although I do not want to publicly state what I own, I am forbidden to own Telecoms, especially those in the wireless arena. However, if I was to own the Telecoms, I would spread my money around all the players, MOT included. I look at the threads and see the postings, especially those that talk about ASR.
With regards to your rants, do you own one of those special keyboards?
