Well,

I have good news to report back about Tanners....the food's great!!! The one we went to is in a very congested area...near the Galleria and Cumberland Mall. It was located in a small 2 story strip mall. Inside the restaurant was rustic with a chicken as their mascot....I think his name was cocka doodles...and his girlfriend was betty. There was quite a variety of items on the menu...in addition to rotissiere chicken, they also offered ribs, burgers, hot wings and other things. I got the rotissiere chicken sandwich and my husband got the smothered and covered...quite a tasty and spicy dish.

There was a large refrigerated glass cabinet with a selection of bottled beers so they do serve, but don't think they have any on tap. The atmosphere was pleasant and casual...a family type setting, but I could see quite the potential for Xer's hanging out there.

Walking into the place, you immediately smell food grilling as the kitchen is not walled off from the rest of the restaurant. Upon leaving, I noticed that they sell their own speciality sauces, including honey mustard.

This place gets a good rating and one that we would visit again without hesitation. Might try another location next week.
