I concur. Reuters should report fairly about gold with respect to the euro. Gold reserves are too important to ignore in the advent of a reserve currency.

I believe that your starter "let's insure the news about.." says it best. Large news agencies proved incapable of operating without bias and willful ignorance concerning gold, especially over the last two months. Coverage of gold issues might be fair or even improve if news agencies receive immediate feedback to remind them gold developments are crucial both within and outside the EMU. Hopefully their work will discover something beyond paid analysts' threats of unconfirmed sales and vacant propaganda. Didn't Reuters report that European central bankers disapprove of Italy's proposal to use excess dollar denominated reserves (gold sales) to finance social spending programs? If so, keep up the good work Reuters.
