Dear Soros (from Nancy),
Zechariah 14 gives a glimpse of the future for the Nations that come against Israel. This chapter starts with the identification of the time when the Messiah (King) will come and fight for Israel and establish His throne. Like in verse 5 Then the Lord my God will come and all the holy ones with Him. All these verse are clearly a future event of His glory. Then verse 12;
This is the plague with which the Lord will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem. (not spiritual Israel) Their flesh will rot while they are standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.
13 On that day men will be stricken by the Lord with great panic.
The text continues to describe the future of the Feast of Tabernacles and for the first time mentions that all the Nations of the world will be expected to attend this feast and especially those that fought against Jerusalem.
There is a glorious future for all who love the Lord God of Israel.
May the Lord bless you,
Nancy
