Sam, everything I read about CDMA is just more confusing for me. Now I find there are several kinds of CDMA, including CDMA 2000. I do know that Qualcomm's CDMA is rapidly spreading over Asia, and that most of the people I consider experts do not believe TDMA will prevail. But don't take my word for it--I frankly could not explain the difference between GSM and TDMA, for example. Are they the same, maybe?

If anyone who is reading this can evaluate all these different technologies and offer an opinion, please don't hesitate to just jump in!
