Think about what you are saying here....... This man should die because he touched the ark? Yes, I remember the admonitions not to touch it. Yes there should be poles. Are these things so important that a man should die? Please examine what is being said. A man, just a normal guy, sees the most important and holy object to possibly ever grace the planets surface start to topple. He isnot doing anything evil, he is not doing anything mean, He is just responding reflexively . He is just unthinkingly responding with his God given reflexes, and for that he must instantaneously die?
Remember, this isnt punishment for a bad or evil action. This is just a reflex action action to steady a holy and beloved object, and for this God kills a man! I'm sorry, I just dont understand that. I have read how people try to explain situations like this. However,it always come down to one sentence eventually, Dont judge God. It is not God I am judging. It is the supposed writings of God and peoples perceptions of him that I doubt. there is large fundamental difference in my mind.
