Melissa,

I hope they don't hold a CC. Every important piece of information that you need to know as an investor is written in the quarterly earnings report.

As shown by the CC last month, the analysts don't seem to even pay attention to the answers that the company gives in a CC. e.g., Chuck Phillips asks about SAP pricing, is told that it is not a problem, then downgrades the stock citing those very same pricing concerns as the primary reason.

On top of that, the Wall Streeters seem to feel that they have some god-given right to these Q&A sessions. When PeopleSoft declines to participate in the BT-Alex Brown Q&A conference, we see the sniping of people such as Eric Savitz of Barrons (posted earlier on this thread) who writes of "PeopleSoft, SAP, Baan and their ilk." Is this the tone of someone who deserves to speak directly to the company management?

Let the analysts read the quarterly reports along with the rest of us.

Tom
