Hi Steven - I do not follow either of the stocks you mention, AGAI or TGAL and therefore can not provide you any opinion as to if these could be classified as value stocks according to Mr. Grahm or Mr. Dodd.

Perhaps it would be an interesting exercise to outline several of the more fundamental baseline criteria from Grahm-Dodd and post information from one of those companiesti this board, The forum can break out those components that peak the interest of a value investor. To start with, post the most recent 10K (in fixed format form) or provide a link and let's list several of the key items we want to review.

Here are a few things on my list I like to look at:

Some Company Specific items
1) Free Flow Cash Flow (3-5 year trend)
2) Debt and types (3-5 year trend)
3) Depreciation (booked entries for last 3-5 years)
4) Asset Types specify - Rate of return on those assets by category if possible
5) Expense break down by type or category
6) Sales by quarter for 3-5 year period
7) Revenue breakdown by type of revenue (ie. service, product etc.)

Industry Specific:
1) Does the sector meet Grahm-Dodd criteria. Need to quantify

These are just a few things I look at as a value investor. There are many others we can add to our list. A good first start is to list the company, ticker symbol, and overview.

You might start by going to this link stocksmart.com

It takes a lot of work to see an investment through the eyes of Grahm and Dodd.
