Dr. Enger <Yousef addressed the issue of a process "tweak" NOT A
MAJOR PROCESS SHRINK.>

You must be eating too much recently, Pal,
I mean your own words. Too bad for your stomach,
they stink and are all crap.

The original question was "What AMD did to
get into 400MHz".

Yousef started lecturing on process "tweaks".

I just reminded him that THERE IS NO NEED IN
TWEAKS since the 0.25 K6 should get to 400MHz
for "free" because of plain feature shrink.

The fact that AMD is currently selling only 350
MHz parts does not mean that they have hit
the top frequency of the design but rather
points to usual process/equipment learning curve.

Try to comprehend: there is no need in Yousef
"expertise" for AMD to get 400 and even 450.
Period.

For sure, AMD engineers are not sitting still
and must do some refinements to the K6 design.
Otherwise the target of 500Mhz will look somehow
"unsupported" from the basics of plain shrink.

<For a guy who thinks with his mouth, you sure BARK A A LOT !>
Now look at yourself in a mirror.
