The pre-war submission of the German people to the Hitler regime need to be divided into two periods: the economic upheaval of the early 30's and the economic revival period of the 1936-1938. If one were to draw an analog between the Clinton administration (which I'm not) and the Hitler regime, it would be with the second Hilter period where people were very upbeat as the economy was recovering.
