I agree that it might because the price differential is not enough to outweigh the sexiness. I was just disagreeing with the assessment that there was no price differential. Just a note - there are at least two factors in favor of WLL:

1) Over regulated markets in most developing countries - we've discussed this before so it is probably not an area of disagreement.

2) Currently many of the wireline phones in the suburbs are owned by 7 or 8 neighbors and perforce must not be moved around too much anyway(sort of like the party-lines that used to exist in the US). This fact combined with a factor of 2 cost savings may be enough to stimulate significant demand.
