Eric,

lots of buying interest in VRTY "against the tide" today. Whats your take on this? with tax loss selling are institutions set to reaccumulate shares in Jan?

Regarding Sunw - there's no doubt it was beat up badly after its last quarterly earnings but IMO this is temporary, not a shift in business fundamentals. I am extremely bullish on Sun given their product pipeline and absolute dominance in much of the higher end unix markets. the NT threat is limited and actually is driving more business to Sun as companies look to best of breed in both Unix and NT.

i.e - Sun experienced 80+% growth in Unix server sales vx. HP's low teens.. Granted HP has a Intel based business worth a $1B but its profitability is much lower. Sun is on a holy war right now against NT and Java et al is just another arrow in its quiver.
