Now I understand your clueless confusion.

Intel has several x86 design teams - in BOTH Santa Clara AND Oregon.

Not to mention the Merced design team.

Why don't you list the x86 products that Intel has introduced over the past two years - and will introduce over the next year.

As for AMD - their performance speaks for itself - Sharpy is late and the K7 looks like a big brother to the K6-2.

I'm sure they will sell a lot of these at $100 - if it ever gets to market.

Why don't you tell us all about the impressive K5 design and design teams and the original K6 effort which got sh*t canned.

Of course, you did neglect to remind us that AMD had to go out and BUY NEXGEN to get these designers.

Who will AMD buy if the K7 is a K5-repeat?
