Pennygod: Unless you are talking about the large stocks mentioned, only a select few who are really in with an MM can short pennies and I am not one of them.

Taking your observations one step further, CSHK has been a good rolling stock for months. Range rider is another description for it. Buy at the low, let whatever drive up the price to your sell point and then let the vigilantes drive the price back down so you can buy many more at the low again. It is amazing how the number of shares compounds this way as the trading range repeats itself over and over again. The closer the cycles the better. Of course, one day rolling stocks break out of the range and many things can happen from there. Some zoom up and form a new range. The trick is to hold a position as long term and trade the range with short term money. That way you don't miss out on the big kahuana breakout if and when it comes.

Some play it both ways like this. Some prefer to play it all short term. Others like to hold long term. Each to his own as they all can be profitable.

By the way, we are at the low again. Are you buying in again?
