No you may be right. It's just that to me it was a rumor, and even if true I wasn't that worried about it because it's not uncommon practice. If it wasn't a rumor then I really had nothing to worry about. The problem is that the stock has tanked, and if Carreker says that he didn't stuff the channel, perhaps he means, respectfully, that he didn't stuff it beyond normal industry practice. Something has tanked this stock way beyond what it deserves, IMHO, and to me the best cause right now would be an overreaction to a stuffed channel, because that's a transient issue and easy to remedy compared with the alternatives. Unfortunately this stock is behaving more like a company with fundamental problems that guys like me don't hear about until it's too late.
