My understanding is that these systems are not differentiated on the basis of price. So discounting to the channal would not be that useful to sales. Also, with the trend to "just in time," most distributors will have orders before they order from ASPT. So I really don't think this is a rumor that should cause concern. I think this was something started by short sellers to drive the stock price down at a time when they were relatiavely certain that the company couldn't respond. Now that we have the buyback program, I think they stay short at their peril. I'm really interested to see if I can spot the unwinding of the put transaction. I probably wont be able to.
