Geac acquires Soluzioni Gestionali S.r.L.
MARKHAM, ONTARIO--Geac Computer Corporation Limited today announced that it has acquired the remaining 75 percent interest in its former joint-venture - Soluzioni Gestionali S.r.L. to create Geac Italia S.r.L - a 19 year exclusive distributor of Geac SmartEnterprise Solution's cross industry administrative applications.
"Geac's objectives in Italy are to broaden our services and support offerings to our existing customers, as well as to develop new customer relations in Italy. Soluzioni Gestionali brings Geac a valuable and experienced local staff," said Steve Sadler of Geac. "With the acquisition and integration of Soluzioni Gestionali S.r.L., our Italian customers will benefit from a closer and strenghtened relationship with Geac."
