I think you have it backwards. TDMA is well established & CDMA (the new kid on the block) initially infringed on TDMA patents, but both have infringed on each other. Ericsson and Qualcom, as you probably know, continue to sue each other over these rights. Currently CDMA is not even a player in Europe or Africa and, compared to TDMA, not even close in consumer coverage.

Just using my $.02 to correct.
