INTC going alone is a big mistake for them.

I can see how they want to speed up the network sales
so as to help their chip sales. That's good for everybody.

IMO, INTC should do partnerships or collaborations with
3COM so that they could both win. I think the hi-tech
sector in general would profit more than a possible
destructive price wars where it's already been shown
that COMS will come out ahead anyways.

Maybe INTC has so much $$, they don't know where to allocate
it properly?
