I am not interested in whether or not you made a profit in this. As someone who (a) doesn't have any investment in MSFT (b) hasn't shorted MSFT and (c) doesn't have any investment in any of Microsoft's competitors, I don't have anything to gain/lose as an investor. Also I don't regard your gains as my losses either! :-) My point simply is about the interests of the consumer. Nothing less; nothing more. Dipy.
