Generally speaking, there's no point in replying to a person who has symmetriphiliac obsessions, i e. compulsive tit-for-tat behavior, and who probably is a pathological hand-washer also. Such a person will just go on coming back with some kind of captious and irrelevant reply. Let a professional goat-getter take the goat and leave.

We have all encountered this type in the sandbox. Every time you pick up a toy they grab it. They stamp on your Easter eggs. They follow you around saying "Now it's my turn!" Their private habits are exceedingly bizarre and include meaningless rituals, such as insisting that all the potatoes in the drawer be lined up according to size.

To argue with or to confront them is comparable to reasoning with a briar patch. It's better just to walk around it.

I think that if we are just all real quiet, after a while this thing will go away and Claud will come back.
