Hi Judy,
Yes, ALTR gave a buy signal a couple of weeks ago and I selected them in one of the stock picking contests here on SI. Next buy signal for ALTR is at $40. Good support at $30.

XLNX gave a double top buy signal today as well as breaking through bearish resistance line. Support down at $31.

Both have positive RS.

AMAT gave a DT buy signal a couple of days ago and has the BRL looming 2 points away at $32.

NVLS - broke a triple top and a spread double top a couple of days ago. BRL also two points away at $35.

Both have negative RS.

Only ALTR is above the BRL.

ALA would be good for LU just to get the international presence, but I see some weaknesses in the product line for a long term strategy for LU. FORE is really good for enterprise market and has good Federal government presence, but really lacks the features that would make it a strong SP product. LU is behind the 8-ball at this point. They have a few products from their acquisitions and a story that sounds good, but nothing on which you could build a real future packet/cell based network. ASND gets them there quickly. LU+ALA+FORE could happen, but I don't see it.
