I forget the url, but some commentator was saying that Nokia's success is coming from cdmaOne's rapid growth too, by way of explanation for their huge gains against Motorola and L M Ericsson. That is misplaced hope. Nokia's gains seem to be almost entirely from success in GSM. The news is simply going to get worse for L M Ericsson as cdmaOne develops. Nokia is taking more and more of the GSM markets. Their inroads into cdmaOne are trivial for now. When Nokia gets their cdmaOne singing, they'll go ahead of L M Ericsson and Motorola even faster. There is a LOT of competition in cdmaOne handsets now, with a 75 gram Appeal model now out and gobbling market share in Korea flat out. Presumably in Japan too, but that wasn't mentioned. Philips/Lucent has crashed in flames. Nokia will have to move quickly, probably going to QUALCOMM's MSM3000 and ditching their own chips in an effort to keep up. Nokia is looking extremely good. 'Overbought' seems questionable. Maurice
