what is your guess as to the number of ISPs USR has vs those Ascend and all those equipped with similar products from Cisco, Cascade, Shiva and everyone else out that that use the Rockwell or Lucent chipsets? The time disparity you mention may be pretty insignificant in the general scheme of things, particularly since Ascend has announced that it'll have working models available not very long after USR's debut. And USR will have user software available for upgrading at least 30 days prior to ISP-end device upgrades. The next 30-45 days will be interesting but again, in the general scheme of things the time differential may give crowing rights but maybe very little more. It all remains to be seen... Dee Jay
