I for one share that enthusiasm, especially since I have heard of the Biojector 2000 in context with a malaria strain prevalent in Japan. I understand there are ongoing tests using the Biojector at this time. Of course, with the potential for greatly increased efficacy using jet injection technology, this will have a stunning effect on sales should a military contract come to fruition.
The news alert I have mentioned on this and other threads is, to my knowledge, premature. The company is maintaining it's "no hype", signed deals only stature. Fine with me. Also, I have had an excellent conversation with a very reliable source, and there are NO negatives to hinder the progress the company has made thus far. They have also hired a new upper level exec. (to head up the jv with Elan?). The company is also in the progress of retaining a Public Relations firm...a "top" p.r. firm. I also heard that the 2Q99 WILL include 1/2 of the up front payment made by Merck and that the alliance is going well...Merck was "very pleased with the QC walk through several weeks ago.
All the best.
Greg
