Thunderbird Opens its Third "Fiesta Casino" in Panama SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA--International Thunderbird Gaming Corporation (TSE & VSE - INB) is pleased to announce the opening of Thunderbird's Fiesta Casino Panama located within the Hotel Washington in Colon, Republic of Panama. The Hotel Washington site is the third of four casinos that Thunderbird plans to operate in the Republic of Panama. Thunderbird's Fiesta Casino at the Hotel Soloy opened for business on August 25, 1998. Thunderbird's Fiesta Casino at the Hotel El Panama opened for business on September 7, 1998. Thunderbird's Fiesta Casino Panama (Colon) opened on Friday, October 16, 1998 and is operating with 100 gaming machines and 11 gaming tables. In January 1998, the Government of the Republic of Panama awarded the Company with an Administrative Contract to own and operate four full casinos in the Republic of Panama. The Company plans to open one additional casino (located at Hotel Nacional in David, Republic of Panama) in November of 1998.
