Shorted Cymer today at around 9 3/4. Also AMAT at around 29 1/4. Usually I dont hold a short but for a day or two. I'm going to go for a week or two this time around. Nothing has changed. Big deal, the Fed cuts rates. So what? There was some discussion on the AMAT board of how, in the past, when the rate is cut the stock market actually goes down in the long term. And when its rased, the market goes up in the long term.
