Hmmm...earnings of .09 were expected and they came in at .12 ...but the earnings included a charge of .07 for merger costs...included a charge of .26 for the write-down of Russian assets...and included a gain of .21 for an over-allowance for taxes that were being disputed...so if these unusual items are taken out...that leaves earnings of .24! ...Either way they exceeded earnings expectations...

The Russian asset write down is worth noting...as the value of the physical infrastructure of the assets has not really changed...but the currency has changed...(In other words the physical infrastructure may be successfully leveraged in the future...)...

Now is the high-bandwidth satellite industry as a whole...going to exceed earnings?...
