Dave, I agree with some of what you say about HP management. They seem to have lost focus. But I wouldn't get out now. HP has a chance to turn around. Their Unix market share is growing, thanks in part to the IA64 compatibility. The Wintel Server market is growing and the PC industry is recovering after a brutal year. Add in cost reductions and a share buy-back and it spells turn-around. If I were short HP I would cover. I'm not looking for gangbuster results this qtr, but I think now is a good time to start accumulating shares for the long-run.
