Jim, have you ever thought about a career with Amati's marketing department? Your unbridled enthusiasm for this company is quite apparent.

I have much hope for Amati's future as I own 700 shares myself. However, there are dangers with becoming too attached to a stock and a technology that many novice lurkers here may not know. Constant enthusiasm can mask the potential for a downside. Just ask all those people who threw lots of money into CAWS at over $10 a share. CAWS had the technology (or so the Bells thought) and a supposed white hot market for it. It dematerialized. The same thing can happen with ADSL. It has not been implemented, save for trials and small offerings. It can absolutely explode (which I personally think will happen) or it can sink for lots of reasons.

I hope to make a lot of money off Amati long-term, just as I'm sure you do. I'm just trying to balance the positives with possible negatives. Any investor who does not do that is a pure gambler with speculative companies.

Mike
