Speaking of hype for y2k ... ABC has scheduled a segment on the US Government's efforts to deal with y2k in all departments. The segment is scheduled for tonight, Thursday, at 11:35 - in the Nightline program. There has been a great deal of talk about the Government as a big user that is furthest behind the curve.
