Tango, the deal in the works is with Zemex Canada Corportion, which will start trading in Canada in January, it will stay listed on NYSE, but it will become a subsidiary of Zemex Canada Corporation.

As of Oct 1, 1998, Paul A. Carroll(who owns 30,411 shares of Zemex) and Thomas B. Evan(who owns 40,590 shares of Zemex), are now directors of Zemex. Remember Richard L. Lister who is President and CEO of Zemex is also a director of World Wide Minerals, Mr. Lister owns 796,455 shares or 9.2% of Zemex. Dundee Bancorp owns 2,927,233 or 34.5% of Zemex.

Some dates:
Nov 10, 1998 record date
Dec 18, 1998 Special meetings, voting on moving Zemex to Canada.

Though Zemex Canada is not listed on the TSE, it has already been incorporated at the beginning of Oct, which could mean a deal with WWS could be coming up before the special meeting.

A nasty rumour about the settlement in the summer with Kazakhstan Government, they tried to use WWS as a pawn to negotiate a deal for Breakwater Resources Ltd., Kazakhstan has an abundance in zinc.

By for now...
