Stephen and Stitch...the intelligence and the saavy on this thread just continues to impress me.

Another topic that is very interesting is Chinese "hostility" or antipathy towards the Japanese.

...somehow the events at Nanking in the 30's seem to typify the "national psyche" of China vis a vis the Japanese.

And this more or less unspoken attitude will drive much of the politics of the early 21st century. How about it?
