The October, 1998 issue of Consumer Reports gives a little space to Enamelon. It states that their "dental consultants remain skeptical" to the Enamelon claims of remineralization. While acknowledging the company's own testing, the article states that Enamelon does not carry the "voluntary" ADA seal. Is this accurate? How is the ADA seal being on the tube voluntary?

In summary, the article encourages its readers (of which I am not one and just stumbled on the article ironically while sitting in my dentist's office) to stick to the toothpastes it had just rated in its August issue. The article states that Enamelon was "introduced too late for our August report" and was not included which would seem to be inaccurate to me given I've been using the product longer than that myself.
