Theon, when the ancient Greek gods wished to punish someone they first invested that person with hubris -- the excessive pride or passion of those who aspire to be like the gods, and so tempt the fates.

LT sure went out on a limb here when he predicted DJIA 1000. Maybe he is actually just a 2,000 year old Roman mortal, with teeth worn down by chewing bread made from stone-ground flour? <g>
