I guess it is a matter of taste who one considers a thread moron. I've always been partial to those that are just raving psychotics. There was a fellow named SJB who got himself kicked off SI in record time. His posts were truly demented, I believe ScannerMan has them archived. But they rambled, were full of non sequitors and ad hominem attacks. He has always been my measuring post for a thread moron. People who are dumb or thick headed but are just trying to figure out what is going on don't really qualify as morons in my book. But then I don't set the rules. Morons are in the eye of the beholder.
