This is one of the most interesting developements I have recently heard. I was beginning to think that the fairly recent concern for the alternate fuel/power problems facing all of us, as represented by the California electric car/zero emmissions mandate, had once again fallen prey to the "reality of the current situation" obstacle. It is refreshing to hear that there is an economically viable and ongoing effort to alleviate what is arguably the single most detrimental source of air pollution on the planet.
Of course, the powers that be will have a large part to play in determining the timetable for such a paridigm shift in their basic way of making money. Just think of the immense efforts and expenses involved in re-tooling for such a major change in technology.
It strikes me that it is at the point where a developing technology shows this great promise that we should be able to count on our elected leaders to step in and say "Yes, this is the direction in which we must go. Here is the support you need and the incentives you need to continue your struggle against the status quo."
At any rate, it seems we can all help move things along by personally supporting these technologies by way of investment in them. The fact that we may be able to personally profit by such support is as it should be.
Thank you for taking the time to post such valuable information. I will certainly keep an eye on this and will spread the word.

We must all remember that we have only one planet.

Thanks for the ear,

Mike B.
