Jim, I agree with you that there is little factual basis for H&Q concern and would add to your list of reasons today's USR comments, techstocks.com in which there was no mention of earnings shortfall. By now USR knows what 1Q earnings are, and if they were less than 0.72/sh, they would have fessed up -- especially so after saying (sometime in Nov., I recall) that the 1Q estimate was achievable and that the 2Q revenues would be a blowout.
Possibly H&Q might have been incorrectly steered from the USR comment,
>... x2 revenues will come primarily in the second half...< (item 7, from above URL).
This should be no surprise, as USR maintained all along and remains consistent with prior pronouncements. Did anyone believe differently? Perhaps H&Q did.
