You truly must know better. <<

I didn't say that. I just said that floppy is still a must for now. There is no question that it is still the ideal media for small data/program transfer and driver distribution. Not all machine has net access, especially notebooks or portable but almost all has a floppy.

Before you say CD is the ideal media for that purpose, ask yourself how many user has the ability to roll out a bunch of CDs from a gold CD? Ask youself how many people has a CDR/CDRW? I love my CDRW but I will never use it to distribute small data/programs and patches, give me a break! How many time I have to repeat and repeat again??? CDR/CDRW and Zip/LS120/HiFD and SparQ/Jaz/Orb are designed for different purpose and should not compare them together.
