I agree, I think the investment community will force the exchanges to get tougher and hopefully we will return to reality with value being placed on good reserves in the ground and not over promoted moose pasture. There are still lots of excellent mining properties out in the world with lots of hurdles to jump through before getting to production. I personally like to explore and acquire properties during low metal prices and place the deposit into production as metal prices begin to climb. This is opposite to what usually occurs in that metal prices rise, this generates excitement, exploration starts and the mine is put into production as prices are falling. The end result is the mine loses money. We'll just have to wait and see what happens, but i've already been through 4 metal price bottom cycles and they just keep repeating. I think the secret is to watch the supply and demand curve. There is also usually a 1 to 2 year lag before the mining industry can react to metal price changes, due to the time it takes to open and close mines.
