Brees, We can only go with what we know the Bible says. He was not supposed to touch it, he inadvertently did, he was killed. I guess it is possible to say he was rewarded by instantly be taken into heaven. However, this is not how the story is usually taught. It is usually relayed in the fashion that his death was instantaneous and a result of not following Gods words. Mark
