PX, <<This is where I was really hoping to see a big push for Device Bay, it would have set the stage for simple HDD swapping for Everyman ... but Device Bay seems to have gone the way of dodo ... too bad!>>
Ah Christ! Will all of you head in the sand geeks please go talk to the marketing department. Everyman doesn't need the excess storage, wouldn't know what to do with it if he had it, doesn't know what a HDD is, doesn't care, and is still looking for that neat autoarrange feature someone told him about. You and others would have him swapping hard drives, using "ghost" software, and wondering what the difference between 2d and 3d graphics is. Meanwhile, "Everyman" is asking people like me, "What does it mean when the little red and green lights blink on the front of my computer?" Maybe I would have a different attitude if based in Silicon Valley, Harvard Square, or Research Triangle but here I am trying to make it play in Peoria. And failing.
