At 2:00PM a rumor got started that Dell's business orders were sagging and it swept the trading floors and offices. Most tech stocks got hit in the sell-off. After 4PM Dell said they know nothing about the rumor or any slowdown. It is trading higher in after-hours markets. Someone wanted some cheap shares. Ben A.
