What do you guys expect ? Havent we learnt anything in the last 6 months ? This is a favourite stock to mess with. No one really understands where they make their money. Almost all the analysts I have heard on TV refer to it as a modem maker and hardly ever refer to the Systems and Consumer division side of it. I for one strongly believe that their Pilot sales figures are much more than Q4 of 96. How do people have such short memories ? This same Rakesh Sood was skittish about Q4, then the last one to laud their x2 initiative and was skeptical about the x2 performance along with a host of numerous authors touting in their "researched" articles that 56k speeds are a myth made up by Marketing folks of dying analog modem makers ! Now today when USR releases positive test results our man throws a curve ball. I really find this coincidence amusing. BTW where is our Needham hero who made "unofficial" comments regarding USR's Q1 ? I bet he is cursing Mr Sood as he bought USRX at around 72-73 and Mr Sood got his clients in at around 66. -hitesh
