One of the criticisms that I've read concerning TMAR (TMAR sells for a huge PER discount compared to HMAR and TDW) is its large interest expense - in less than a month that interest expense has been whacked down by about 10%.

Also, the economic malaise in Asia is supposed to benefit from our lower interest rates and the Asia economy is at the heart of the uncertainty over continued growth in petroleum demand in 1999 and beyond. The boats have suffered the most from soft oil prices this year (down about 80%) and although they are gearing up for a strong 2nd half of 1999 anyway, a brightening economic outlook leaves lots of room for rebound.

Institutions have been puking up TMAR stock up until now and I wouldn't be surprised if some are now reclaiming a stake in TMAR.

Best of luck,

Steve
