Yes, but you're going to have to edit the registry. It may
be that Win 95 stops you from editing the Folder attributes
via Explorer in a misguided effort to protect you from
yourself.

BTW, the Windows\Desktop\CTW stuff worries me. That wouldn't
be the path to the explorer. Is this what you entered in the
path?

Anyhow, since you said your edited the registry, presumably
you know how to run Regedit. So run it and navigate to the
following key:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell

Click the + sign to the left of shell to open the shell
sub-key. At this point you'd better post back what you
see, because I'm shooting in the dark. Properly you should
see two sub-keys -- "explore" and "open", but with what you've
added I dunno WHAT you're going to see. Note: This may
take several posts and a while. I can only check in
occasionally, but if you stick with it, we can probably fix
it. Eventually.

Before you post back, look at what's under any subkeys
under each of "explore" and "open". Properly, you should
have two further subkeys under each one, namely, "command" and
"ddeexec", though you probably won't have ddeexec under
what you added.

I don't know exactly why you could see these
commands but they were grayed out. Normally the command
is either missing or not grayed, even though it can fail
to work in the way you have seen.

Anyway, post back as much detail as you can.
