Carl,

<BFIT, MONFA and SME have done nothing but go down in the last 5 years. If John Dessauer recommended those for long term investments, I would have to 'shake my head in disbelief'. I think he might be thinking: "Buy my investment papers and at least I will make money!" Maybe John will buy Ralph a drink at the bar when they meet in heaven, to make atonement for his sins of recommending such garbage as BFIT, MONFA and SME.>

It was BFIT which is actually BFT that I am talking about. That is one of the stocks that John has been supporting. He has indicated that they had record quarters for July and August. I made my initial purchases at $30 and $25 which in hindsight were made too early. I have since averaged down with a block purchased at $15 which now has me in the black. Thank you for the power of dollar cost averaging. I haven't been as fortunate yet on LSI but I really feel good about the the strength and future of this stock. I realize that it may continue to flounder for several more months but I feel that it is a definite triple over the next 3 years at the max. They always get grouped in with PC chip stocks but they have a bright future with DVD, Digital Cameras, ASICs for the Cisco 12000 and Cabletron devices, Fibre Channel, and many other areas.

Good Luck,

Steve
