What's wrong with speculating? Well, the point I was making is that while you see no "character flaw" in a recovering alcoholic, many people do. Would be akin to "speculating" if a guy used to beat his wife. This is the kind of "politics of personal destruction" that BC said "we must stop." Unless Bush specifically stated that he was a recovering alcoholic we shouldn't be speculating about it. bp
