That's another thing I don't understand... why in the world is Tower paying DSSI management fee ? Tower has a great management team (Yoav and Rafi are both doing a great job), and they surely don't need help managing the company. I don't think Mr. Morgenstern really affects the day to day operations at Tower. After all he has a great management team, with two highly regarded experts in the field, and he is no expert in semis, so what could he do that they can't?
He is Tower's chairman, but Yoav and Rafi are the guys calling the shots (and so it should be), so why is DSSI (meaning George) is getting a management fee... I guess George wants a big salary, and since Tower has the cash, why not take it.
I understand small caps got clobbered this year, and I have no problem with the stock price. I do have problems with the way top management is running the show. I would like to see some changes, either in the way the show is run, or the people running it.
Like you, I think the stock is a steal and I've been picking up some shares lately. However, I want this company to reach its full potential, and I want shareholders' value reaching its full potential. For that we need some change.
BTW, I guess Mr. Morgenstern was hurt by the things I wrote here and on Globes, as he refuses to answer my calls. At least I know he heard me, and I sure hope he took what I said/wrote under consideration.
