Joe, If you found a shorter of the stock today, what evidence does that leave that the shorting is over?
.
To me it would seem to confirm that there IS a seller and today he was getting ten cents more per share than yesterday.
.
If the Company remains officially SILENT (publicly that is, not private conference calls) then there is no way private investors could ever generate enough flows of cash into the stock to offset a determined seller who is not even in possession of the shares that are being bought from him.

If the seeler was a buyer and seller today, he would have bought in the morning at low prices, and shorted in the afternoon at higher prices. This would likely mean a gap open down in the morning, if the buyers were satisfied today.
